Principia History

1990 Three engineers, friends and cycling enthusiast decided that they together would build the
best cycle frame in the world. This became the start of an evolution in framemaking.
In September 1990 Principia A/S was founded in the north of Denmark. The name Principia
was inspired by Issac Newton great work “Philosophiae Naturalis Principia Mathematica”
published on July 5th 1687 and contains laws of motion and gravitation.
